The Company
JABO & ASSOCIATES is primarily a precious minerals and petroleum commodities trading company registered in Ghana with global associates in the precious minerals and petroleum trade.
Established in October 2021, the company’s goal is to provide a platform within the private sector in African countries to drive fair prices in the petroleum trade for realistic price stability in all other commodities on the African continent. The company’s futuristic PETROLEUM & PRECIOUS MINERALS COMMODITIES EXCHANGE Platform is aimed at spreading, pervasive and influential stabilization effects on the micro economies of African countries.
The company’s mission is to augment government's efforts with particular reference to national economic management, decentralization and accelerated growth strategies to create income-earning opportunities for the teeming youth population. Eventually, the company will be positioned as a catalyst for private sector influence on the successful and value addition of Africa’s natural resources.

Together, they drive our vision of sustainable growth and impactful trading solutions for Africa’s precious minerals and petroleum sectors.
REV J. B. LOMO-MAINOO
(EXECUTIVE CHAIRMAN & DIRECTOR, BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT)
Born on September 19 1956, his foundational training at Prempeh College and professional training at KNUST in Resource Development Planning and his creativity in business development solution has helped shape the current motivation and mission.
His professional training and career as a Development Planner spans a period of 48 years with varied expertise, including land use planning, product development, marketing and business development in tourism, agriculture, precious minerals and downstream petroleum trade.
He has worked for several international organizations mainly on tourism and nature conservation projects in Ghana, including UNDP, USAID, SNV, MUCIA, The World Bank, UNWTO, UNECA, DFID & GSU. He also has two decades of experience in construction project management, programme and project development with the various public sector institutions, private sector companies and organisations.
His current vision of establishing a Commodities Exchange Platform primarily for precious metals and petroleum products stems from working and interacting with a global network of professional colleagues and business savvy individuals as well as the success in developing many business concepts including the ‘gold for oil trade’, which has been adopted as a policy by the Government of Ghana.
His life’s mission is to initiate ideas that will help plan and manage the utilization of Africa’s diverse and rich resources in an ingenious, integrated and sustainable manner that will significantly improve the living standards of the vast population on the continent.
His approach to development initiatives has made a lot of impact in the tourism public and private sectors and in the agricultural sector. He sees the management and value addition to land, precious minerals and petroleum sectors as the vibrant catalyst that can trigger industrialization and modernization in African economies. His ideas include an interdisciplinary methodology of resource exploitation with optimum utilization that reflect the + multi-dimensional nature of Africa’s natural and human resources.
He is a keen sports enthusiast, actively plays field hockey and loves running. He is a dedicated husband and father of five children who was ordained as a reverend minister of the gospel of Jesus Christ in 2008
KWABENA NYARKO TWUMASI
(MAIN ASSOCIATE & FINTECH DIRECTOR)
Born December 1963, Started his Professional career in the Accountancy Field, after working for local Government & Banking sector organisations in the U.K, In the mid-nineties upon realising the role technology would play in all aspect of life, he transitioned to the Information Technology space with a qualification as an Enterprise Resource Professional. He then spent over 20 years working as a consultant with various Fortune 500 companies in Europe, Middle East & U.S.A.
After accumulating several decades of management level business experience & exposure in various industries including Oil & Gas, Pharmaceuticals, High Tech, Insurance, Telecommunications & Super Market Chains, He returned to Ghana to concentrate on the running of various entities that he had been instrumental in establishing. These entities served as a foundation for his foray into the West African corporate arena. During the period spanning 2007 – 2021 He was involved in managing organisations that dealt in Earth Moving Equipment leasing, Stone quarry mining, Gold mining and refining, Crude Oil & Refined petroleum products sourcing

In 2021 armed with a vast array of knowledge & experience he teamed up with Rev. J. B. Lomo-Mainoo to establish the aforementioned Jabo & Associate
The establishment of a Commodities Exchange platform is a vision that he shares with the Executive Chairman and given his exposure and experience in Financial and Technology sectors; he has the competency to make it a reality. He is very passionate about disrupting the existing Commodity Exchange methodologies that exist within the Sub-Saharan region and with the international group of affiliates and contacts, is keen to make the Commodity Sale/Acquisition sector transparent and cost effective.
He is married with three children who are embarking on diverse careers in the fields of Engineering, Psychiatry & Computer Science.
Although passionate about table tennis, Chess and high intensity walks, his main sporting activity is Lawn Tennis, which he endeavours to play at least 3 times a week.
REV. GIFTY LAALE LOMO-MAINOO
(DIRECTOR - SOCIAL RESPONSIBILITIES)
Born on 29th December 1958, she went on from WESLEY GIRLS HIGH SCHOOL to pursue her Graduate studies in French at the University of Ghana, Legon and Université de Dakar, Senegal and post graduate studies in English-French Translation. She thereafter veered into the tourism industry. Beginning from the public sector, and after several courses that grounded her in her tourism career, she ventured into private practice in Tour Operations spanning a period of over twenty years.
Experiences from visits and interaction with local communities along tour circuits and sensitivity to the conditions of their living standards resulted in a genuine concern for and birth of a deep sense of the culture of responsible tourism practises. This was reflected in her planning of responsible itineraries and various tour products and packages that involved the active participation of the communities. This was aimed at inculcating further a sense of duty to preserve for posterity the unique attractions they have been endowed with whilst exploring income generating avenues to enable them fully benefit and improve their living conditions as a community
She was ordained as a Reverend Minister in the area of ministry to teenagers, providing mentorship in all aspects, spirit, soul and body and has been an integral part of the success story of the many who benefitted from her tutelage.
She was instrumental in the set up and operations of two memorial non-profit organisations – a religious one and the second one in the field of health- NICOLES HELPLINE FOR TYPE 1 DIABETES
Married for over thirty-three years and dedicated mother of five, her nurturing passion found further expression in sharing and actively joining the global and local call and concern for the environment and conservation issues. She set up her company GIFTS OF NATURE, contributing her quota through gardening, cultivation of varieties of air purifying, water wise and drought tolerant plant species for homes and offices. She packages and presents these in environmentally friendly unique natural terra cotta clay pots in traditional, ethnic and contemporary themed designs- all locally sourced and produced, all handmade and hand painted.
She is an ardent participant and exhibitor at local flower and garden shows and is a member of the Green Ghana Movement, an initiative of STRATCOM AFRICA organisers of the annual GHANA GARDEN & FLOWER SHOW.
JOSEPH LOMO-MAINOO JNR.
(FINANCIAL ADVISOR)
Born in February of 1995, Joseph was raised during his formative years in Accra.
He holds a bachelor’s degree in business administration - Finance from Truman State University. Post - graduation, he pursued professional experience in the financial services industry, specializing in factoring for transportation clients. He graduated cum laude from DePaul University in Chicago with a master’s degree in computational finance where he expanded his knowledge in corporate finance, alternative investments and real estate.
As a young and energetic professional with exposure to structured products and a growing network of financiers in the United States of America, he will be crucial to the future expansion plans of the company.
His key skills include financial planning, analysis, corporate level reporting,financial modelling and forecasting.
He aspires to carve out a career that spans decentralized healthcare
financing and commercial execution, infrastructure investments, structured products and global trade financing.
